The visit includes an exterior and an interior part of the fort. The entire route takes about one hour and thirty minutes.

Some display panels will describe the most significant events that affected the fort from its construction to its recent renovation, and they will illustrate the original function of the different rooms.
During the visit, we suggest following the chronological order of the panels. The fort has three floors.

and where today a walkway allows visitors to observe a wide
panorama of the valley and the surrounding mountains.

We would like to remind you that the fort is a historical relic with environmental and risk conditions that require care and caution during the visit.
Caution is advised due to the weak lighting, the presence of steps, the uneven ground, and the slippery surfaces.
Given the low temperature and the humidity inside the fort, it is necessary to wear a jacket and appropriate shoes.
Access is not recommended for people with walking difficulties, wheelchair users and people with prams/passengers.

Visitors are requested not to leave the marked paths and not to run. Do not climb nor lean on parapets.
In the event of a thunderstorm, please do not use the metal walkways outdoors, stay inside the fort and away from the metal structures.

Please switch off radios, music players and mobile phones.

We kindly ask you not to smoke.
You can reach the fort with your dogs, but the entrance inside the facility is not allowed to animals.

Please also note that for safety reasons the dirt road that leads to the fort is only accessible on foot.
